Concrete gutter lining for Gloucestershire properties

Finlock Removals also offer lining options for your problematic concrete gutters.

While we don’t stand by this as a permanent solution, we most certainly offer the very best in lining services out there. This option may be ideal for those who can’t afford the complete removal and replacement of their concrete gutters, but still know that they need to do something.

Much like our concrete gutter removal process, we take care to certify that everything is conducted using our tried-and-tested methods. Throughout the process, we will completely clear your Finlock gutters out, including any previous linings. Don’t worry – you certainly aren’t the first person to have gone with a dodgy lining solution previously. We’ve seen it all!

Following this, we will then line your gutters with a thorough coating of our optimised fast-drying and waterproof fibreglass paint. The Finlock Removal fitting team will then ensure that your gutters get a proper coating. Unlike other companies, we go the extra mile and install both EPS and flashform underneath your first few rows of tiles. This makes your gutters much more effective and far more durable in the long term.

Unlike Finlock gutter removal, waste from the concrete gutter lining process is much more minimal. However, that waste that is created will either be removed by the builders on the day or will be put into a Hippo bag, to be booked in for collection upon receipt of payment for the works completed. The typical SLA for collection is 3 –5 working days.

Concrete gutter removal for your Gloucestershire home

The most permanent solution available to prevent the problems associated with concrete gutters in Gloucestershire is to remove them. This is a highly skilled operation and should not be carried out by your local handyman, as it needs to be done right the first time round.

Finlock Removals have many years of experience in removing concrete gutters, and as a result, has established an efficient, tried-and-tested method for removing Finlock guttering from your Gloucestershire home, eradicating any problems that you may potentially experience.

The process begins when our fitters arrive at your property, with HSE-approved access equipment, prepped with all the necessary materials and equipment that they will need to carry out the job effectively. They simply need access to electricity and clear access to any of the sides of the property that they are to be working on.

Our team will then assemble the Easi-Dec access equipment required to safely access your concrete gutters. All of our fitters are equipped with this, ensuring that you do incur any extra scaffolding costs. All-access equipment can be assembled and packed away every day, so that there are no obstructions or eyesores for you to endure whilst you are getting the work done. The Finlock Removal fitters will then utilise specialist equipment to remove the externally facing part of your concrete gutters. This part can get particularly dusty, so be aware and close any open windows!

Once this has been completed, our fitters will then use tanalised timber as a means of better protecting the concrete lintel from the elements. Concrete is porous and will therefore likely soak up the water. It is at this stage that any of the water the concrete has absorbed begins to dry out. The fitters will then proceed to attach new fascias, soffits, and gutters to your property – ensuring that the fall from the roof line is all perfectly aligned. Our fitters will use EPS to further help rain run-off from your gutters effectively. The end result is marvellous and will leave your property looking as if it has had a facelift – more so than any other property in Gloucestershire!

Any outstanding debris and rubbish is collected into a Hippo bag, which will be booked for collection once we have received payment for the works. The collection will take a maximum of only 3 – 5 working days. Our fitters will make sure to remove any access equipment that they brought with them and will clean up everything afterwards for that truly polished finish.

Completed installation on your home in Gloucestershire

As highlighted previously, Finlock Removals is more than happy to talk through your options with you and will advise you on whether gutter removal or lining is the best solution for your situation. Finlock Removals is happy to provide a quote either face to face at your property, or over the phone after one of our friendly representatives has visited your property and had a chat with you.

Whichever option you opt for, we are certain that you will be besotted with the results – allowing you to start letting your property dry out. The process can take a few months, although it can be aided by a dehumidifier.

If we have carried out work on your Gloucestershire property already, then we would be thrilled to hear your feedback.
